Job Summary: 

The Manufacturing Chemist will be responsible for manufacturing proprietary kits and consumables that enable diagnostic and protein drug development.  In this laboratory-based position the successful candidate will also support Research and Development in developing new products, applications and technologies.

  6. Lab Safety Management

Job Specifications: 

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
  • US Dot Hazardous Materials Certification
  • IATA Dangerous Goods Transportation Certification
  • Six Sigma
  • QSR experience
  • American Red Cross CPR & First Aid

Skills And Abilities:

  • Experience working with proteins.
  • Experience working with liquid chromatography.
  • Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required / job requires significant interaction with management.
  • Expected to be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative in handling responsibilities.

Working Climate:

Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of objects and materials of weight up to 10 pounds.
