Parsolex is a Center of Excellence for Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing, offering a full suite of solutions that supports its clients’ efforts in the innovation and commercialization of drug products. Parsolex is currently looking for Manufacturing Associate to join the Parsolex .

Essential Functions:

  • Complies with all state and federal laws regarding the manufacture and packaging of finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain training on manufacturing and packaging equipment, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (“CGMPs”).
  • Interact with coworkers, customers, vendors, and students in a professional manner

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Follow procedures to operate both manual and automated manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Follow procedures and be able to document in a legible and accurate manner manufacturing, packaging, cleaning, and other operational activities.
  • Follow all relevant Quality procedures.
  • Follow all relevant Safety and Security procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the manufacturing core, and other designated areas as defined by management.
  • Maintain proper usage and cleanliness of Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), such as respirators.
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation and organization.
  • Write purchase orders for supplies as needed.
  • Assist in researching costs and following up on expenses and budget items.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with management, visitors, students, and University officials.
  • Good judgment, diplomacy, and ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion on various matters and customer service.
  • Willingness to learn how to operate high precision manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • A written and hands-on skills assessment test will be administered.
  • College degree in technical field, or associate degree in applicable mechanical field required.
  • One to three years of production experience.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, terminology, and current Good Manufacturing Practices preferred.
  • Favorable security (DEA/FBI/criminal) check and a negative result on a controlled substance test.
  • Ability to pass respirator test.
  • Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds.
  • Medically able to operate a walk-behind powered forklift.
  • Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.
