Project Manager, Digital Campaigns

Essential Functions

  • Exhibit strong understanding and ability to integrate and execute best practices in digital communications, donor/consumer acquisition, as well as new and emerging marketing techniques.
  • Oversee ongoing strategic initiatives for annual giving, including utilizing emerging and digital technologies.
  • Collaboratively oversee and execute cross-departmental digital communications/projects
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of email campaigns throughout the organization ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Work across multiple teams to identify digital communication and strategic goals to enhance overall engagement and audience acquisition.
  • Evaluate performance and analytics on digital communications to provide recommendations on improved or alternative strategies/populations to create an optimal constituent journey, and increased engagement.
  • Maintain ongoing and consistent communications and support to both internal (special events, engagement and communication) and external teams as a direct tie to the Broad-based Campaigns team.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage programs and measure return on investment.
  • Strategize to effectively engage audiences through mass communication.
  • Compose and/or edit correspondence.
  • Continually develop process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, multi-divisional, results-oriented environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with internal and external staff.
  • Demonstrated success in project management when overseeing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to establish priorities, set objectives, achieve goals and manage to project and departmental budgets.
  • Experience in overseeing digital and print marketing; including writing, proofing and graphic design.
  • Ability to thrive in high-energy environments that often have short deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of direct marketing best practice across non-profit sectors.
  • Understanding of and experience with gamification in marketing strategy.
  • Success in utilizing search engine optimization (SEO) in consumer or donor acquisition.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive consensus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
  • Strong desire to succeed and excellent work ethic.
  • Regular and reliable attendance are requirements of this position.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in content, consumer marketing, or advertising required.
