Production Technician

As a Production Technician with Omega Micro Technologies, the candidate will have input in all areas of the business assisting with the manufacturing processes, drafting, and responsible for production equipment maintenance. Specifically:

  • Assist with production oversight including inventory management, manufacturing and quality control;
  • Drafting and CAD/CAM generation;
  • Generation of CNC punch and router files;
  • Assist with engineering testing;
  • Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of production and lab equipment;
  • Technical job with a need to be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects at a time.


  • Self-starter;
  • Effective written and verbal communication;
  • Familiarity with standard office computer programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc);
  • Familiarity or ability to learn various CAD/CAM software;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Maintain and track all applicable production routings, process flows, quality standards, and manufacturing setups;
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing equipment and preventative maintenance / repair of various equipment;
  • Available for non-standard work hours occasionally (on-call as needed to support manufacturing).

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of associates degree in Industrial Technology or similar field;
  • 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment;
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving experience.


Omega Micro Technologies, Inc. is engaged in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced state-of-the-art integrated substrates and packages using low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) and thick-film for military, space, aerospace, and commercial customers.
