Marketing Analyst

This is a new position for BASi. We are looking for a creative person who will blaze a trail to allow us to see more in the way of market research. Responsibilities include developing a comprehensive understanding of the markets we serve, understanding the value proposition of our products and services, and identifying how we can better reach our current and future customers. The ability to research, gather, and then translate these insights into action and recommendation will be at the forefront of this position. 

How you can further make an impact:

  • Market Research. Comprehensive understanding of the industry and BASi’s role in the Life Sciences space (understanding of the value proposition of BASi’s products and services, challenges facing customer segments, and how businesses can use BASi’s offerings to solve their problems and meet their objectives). Ability to effectively analyze and funnel this information to our Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Design. Creation of digital design and assets for use on our website, marketing platform, and social media platforms. Design for a range of projects including print and digital communication. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Analytics. Monitoring and analyzing key metrics for website, CRM and marketing platform (Salesforce/Pardot), and social media (currently LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter).
  • Other: Relationship development with external organizations and news/media outlets. Support for educating internal staff (onboarding programs, platforms and fostering alignment). This position could also serve as a coordinator and liaison for additional marketing functions, such as trade show preparation and marketing material production.


Skills Necessary

  • Experience in marketing strategy execution, brand identity, digital marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, social media analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce CRM and Pardot
  • Statistical and data analysis/modeling skills (e.g. significance testing, regression modeling, etc.)
  • Communication skills to represent marketing analytics in cross-functional discussion
  • Ability to fit with and work in team atmosphere
  • Ability to distinguish color required
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop work schedules and meet deadlines

Education Requirements

  • Preference to BS/BA in a Science Field, Marketing, Management
  • 3 or more years preferred experience creating and implementing marketing processes and systems
  • Project Management Experience
