Duties / Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working on the leading edge of the social networking phenomenon and will have the opportunity to truly excel, having immediate responsibility and the potential for recognition, promotion and financial rewards.

  • Contribute best-in-class programming skills to the development of our highly innovative, patent pending platform and consumer facing applications
  • Design, implement, and maintain server side application and infrastructure code.
  • Conduct design and code reviews as part of a closely knit team.
  • Pragmatically solve problems correctly, quickly and efficiently.
  • Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, clients and product management.
  • Be proactive in looking for ways to improve YouDiligence's offerings and processes.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Strong design sensibility with emphasis on clarity and usability.
  • Disciplined approach to development, testing and documenatation.
  • Familiarity with patterns and anti-patterns in Java.
  • Strong skills in Jaca and MySQL (Grails & Groovy a plus).
  • Some experience in web scripting language (PHP, Ruby, Python).
  • Proponent of agile techniques (sprints, regular compilable code bases, user stories, unti testing &TDD).
  • Ability to work hard and have a lot of fun at the same time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team-first mentality
  • Ability to be fexible and work independently
  • MySQL, Apache & Tomcat performance and optimization experience a plus.
  • Front end and integration experience including HTML, JQuery, CSS, the DOM , SOAP, XML, REST, Services and cross-browser compatibility and standards a plus.
